Rene Marcelle was born and raised in Tucson and developed a love for writing comedy from watching masterpieces such as Kid Nation, Dance Moms, Glee, and Regular Show. Recently, he has had two nominations for best music video and best fiction short at the NATAS Rocky Mountain Regional Emmy Awards for playing with lightsabers and writing a bad musical about JFK. In the future, Rene hopes to stop talking about himself in the third person and pursue a career in directing and writing for television.
